- 3-4 pounds spareribs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 onion, sliced
- a 16 ounce bottle of barbecue sauce
Directions:
- Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper.
- Place ribs in broiler pan under broiler for 15 minutes to brown.
- Put sliced onion in slow cooker
- Slice ribs into serving size pieces and place in slow cooker
- Pour in barbecue sauce and cover slow cooker
- Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or high for 4 to 5 hours.
