Ingredients:
- 1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter
- 1 cup brown sugar (original recipe calls for dark brown)
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
Instructions:
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and then whisk in the brown sugar.
- Add the heavy cream stirring well. Bring mixture just to a boil, reduce heat and simmer slowly for 5 minutes, stirring often.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and salt.
