Ingredients:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 8 ounce sour cream
- 4 eggs
- 1 Tablespoon extract (vanilla, lemon, almond)
Butter Sauce
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 Tablespoons water
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
- Combine cake mix, sugar, oil, sour cream, eggs and extract in mixer. Beat on low until combined. Increase speed to medium and beat for 4 minutes.
- Pour into a prepared bundt pan and bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 40-45 minutes
- While the cake bakes make the butter sauce. Put all the butter sauce ingredients into a saucepan and heat over medium heat stirring until sugar dissolves but do not boil.
- Cake is done when knife inserted comes out clean.
- Poke holes in the cake as soon as it comes from the oven. Slowly pour butter sauce over cake.
- Allow to cool in pan.
- Remove from pan and serve with whipped cream or vanilla sauce.
