Turkey Burgers

Recipe modified from New York Times

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 medium onion, grated or finely chopped (about 2 Tablespoons onion)
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons ketchup
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper to taste
Instructions:
  1. Mix together all ingredients until combined.
  2.  Form into 4 patties each about 1/2 inch thick
  3. Cook patties in a well-oiled cast iron pan on medium high heat for about 5 minutes per side.
